イギリスの国旗とシアトル（アメリカ）の件

私が調べた「私が行きたい国！」はイギリスと、おもにアメリカにあるシアトルです。

For the theme, “The country I want to visit!”  I made research on the UK and Seattle, USA.

なぜ、イギリスとアメリカにあるシアトルは全然違うのに一緒に調べたのかというと、

イギリスの好きなところは国旗が好きで、でも行きたい国はアメリカにあるシアトルだからです。

Yes, the UK and the US are different. The reason I chose them is because I like the national flag of UK but the country I like is the US, where Seattle is.

どうしても、その２つをみんなに知ってほしくて２つとも全然違う国を調べてきました。

I really wanted to let you know about the two and decided to check both.

まず、イギリスの国旗です。

First, let me tell you about the national flag of the UK.

イギリスの国旗は日本でも有名でイギリスの国旗を日本ではユニオンジャックと呼ばれています。

It is very famous. In Japan it is called the Union Jack.

もちろん、人によってはイギリスとか、イギリスの国旗という呼び方をする人もいますし、

服など言葉の使い方によって呼び方が変わると思います。

Some people call it the UK, others the national flag of the UK. It depends on the context such as clothing and things.

日本では、服などにもイギリスの国旗(ユニオンジャック)が多く使われています。

You can find many Union Jacks on Japanese clothing.

私も、何着かユニオンジャックの服を持っています。結構気に入っています(笑)※

I have some, too and I like them.

次は、アメリカにあるシアトルについてです。

Next is about Seattle, USA.

ここ、００００００(学校名)でもいけると聞いたことがありますがもしいけるなら早くいきたいです。なぜなら、英語がもっと話せるようになりたいからです。

I have heard that we have the chance to go to 学校名 from this school. I want to go soon because I want to become able to speak English.

でも一番の理由はシアトルに私が小さい頃から好きな芸能人＆番組がやっていて(いて)グッズだけでもいいから大量買いしたいからです(笑)

But the biggest reason is because my all time favorite celebrity is in Seattle and I at least want to buy a lot of their goods.

それ以外に、先輩がシアトルに行ってきた話しをきいているとすっごーっく楽しそうだし、

私は将来、留学することを考えているので、小さい頃から少しでも外国の生活をしっておきたいからです。

Also, I have heard from my superiors that they had a great time. As I am planning to study abroad in the future, I would like to spend as much time possible abroad during my youth.

などなど、これ以外にもたくさん理由があります。

I have many other reasons, too.
